It's
definitely been different this first week! When I got to my first class
on Wednesday I was really worried because of all the Spanish, but I'm
doing a lot better and I'm really enjoying it! We go to class every
morning and afternoon and have been learning how to teach the first
lesson about the Restoration of the Gospel.
We
met with our Branch Presidency Thursday night (The leaders of our Sunday
congregation) and we had such a wonderful meeting. I can't believe how
much love everyone has for us and we've just met. Because our zone is
only 3 districts and the one with 6 people is leaving, the four people
in my district were already asked to be the zone leaders and Sister
Training Leaders, so our second day we were already getting a leadership
orientation! I've realized that a lot of people look to previous
missionaries for what to do and so it's extremely important to be
exactly obedient and to love everyone :)
Everyone's
been so welcoming and I'm so excited to be here! I couldn't believe how
hard it was to say goodbye to the district that I've only known for a
few days.

On Saturday we
taught our first investigator, who was really our teacher, but it felt
so real! We talked about how God knows us each individually, loves us,
and that no matter what we do, we can always repent and come back to
Christ.
